What you'll need:
- your base coat and top coat
- white nail polish & black nail polish
- dotting tool
- Put on some good music or an episode of your favourite show, because you're gonna be here for awhile.
- Paint a thin layer of your base coat on all your nails.
- Paint the first layer of your white nail polish EXCEPT on the ring finger (leave it unpainted), let dry, and repeat. Make sure it's opaque!
- Take your dotting tool, dip it in some black nail polish and start dotting on your painted nails. A regular spotted pattern would be fine or you could go abstract. Let dry.
- On your ring finger, get the tip of your white polish brush and paint a rounded edge so that white polish covers 60% of your nail from the tip. Let dry, repeat and make sure it's opaque.
- Take the brush and paint 2 tiny triangular strokes to form the cat's ears.
- Take your dotting tool and dot on some eyes for the cat! Then draw very fine strokes for the whiskers-- you can use a toothpick if you want. Draw on the cat's mouth!
- Paint over with your top coat, et voila! You're done.
