These 2 days were spent at Bacong High School. It's a more rural village school and we did some house visits. We saw some chicks and being the sua-gu city kids that we are, we were cooing and squealing over the little thing!
The next day, after whitewashing the toilets of Bacong, we headed to Batayan Park to catch the sunset. It was too cloudy to really see it but I thought it was beautiful. There were more puppies too! Strange we saw so many dogs but close to zero cats. Again, interacted with more strangers and we met the cutest bunch of kids each with their own puppies. When this 1 boy found out we wanted to take a picture of them with their dogs, he immediately rushed to grab all 3 puppies so he'd be the only star of the picture- so cute!
At night, we sat by the river as we watched lightning flash across the skies in 3 second intervals. It was pretty darned magical.
