"J'ai senti dans ses mains le chaleur d'un destin."
Sète was a beautiful seaside town with salty air and sea breezes. This was where I took my first swim in the Mediterranean Ocean and it was absolutely FREEZING even though we were in the peak of Summer. However, it was a good experience of liberation from self-consciousness and what was even better was climbing onto boulders and drying off in the warm embrace of the Sun. One thing that struck me about Sète was its tranquility and peace - something I really treasured at that point in time. It was also my first time trying Moules Frites (mussels and fries)! Incidentally, it was also La fête nationale du 14 juillet, otherwise known as Bastille Day, and we were treated to a twenty
-five minute long firework display that ended off the day with a bang. x
