Season's Greetings and happy holidays! Here is a polaroid of me and my favourite dog in the entire Universe (sorry, @marniethedog, you know I adore you but you're no Twinkle). I don't know what I like most about this picture. But it's probably the fact that my pup looks petrified and rather as if he's playing dead. You know, like when animals see predators and go cardboard stiff, hoping they'll eventually be left alone. Does that say a lot about my relationship with my dog?
Wait, back to the topic: Christmas! I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of Christmas. In the past, as a child, it meant doing absolutely nothing, not giving a single thing to anyone, yet still having presents rain over me. Ah, childhood! This year, my 20th year of life, I am looking forward to it because I find wrapping gifts HIGHLY therapeutic and it does feel pretty good to give. More importantly, I am looking forward to spending time with my family and loved ones (probably watching television). Hey, time spent together is still time spent together, right?
Tomorrow I get half the day off, so hoorah! Let the Christmas feasting begin! (Hah who am I kidding? We all know I got a head start on the feasting like two months ago.) x
