Recently I wrote an article for University Post about the student residence I live in.
I thought it would be an easy article to write but I often found myself with muddled thoughts. How do you begin to aptly, fully and thoroughly convey an experience? Where do I begin? Do I talk about the physical environment or would less tangible things be more meaningful? Should I speak with a personal tone or do I keep it strictly professional? Will people from my residence who read this agree with me or is my perspective completely skewed?
Either way, it was interesting to reflect on a place I often too simply take for granted. It always feels weird reading something you've written, and though I always feel iffy sharing these things, I'd like to share this with you guys, my friends, so you know a little more about life outside of my travels and inside my 'home'.
