Prague, Czech Republic

Coming in about three months too late, here are some snaps of Prague when I went in mid-April. That felt like what I thought Spring was supposed to feel like - crisp air coupled with mild, warm sunshine. You could get away with thinner coats and fewer layers but your fingertips would get still cold with the pass of a breeze. Prague was a beautiful city - possibly one of my favourites, even up to now. We stayed right next to the Charles Bridge which offered us a lovely walk into the Old Town. I think the charm of Prague lay in its scale - narrow streets flanked by buildings of the just-so height. Paint it in warm colours, along with some signs of wear and tear for character, pair it with a cobbled street and you get a classic.
