Cherry Blossoms in the Cemetery

On a fine day in Spring, the Danish media exploded with news about the arrival of cherry blossoms in the most peculiar of places - a cemetery in Bispebjerg kirkegård. 10 km and several uphill slopes later, we arrived at this sight to behold. It was truly magical - two rows of cherry blossom trees bursting forth with the vigour emblematic of spring, lining a path that parted two manicured gardens. We had a picnic while bathing in the warm rays of the spring April sunshine, surrounded by others sipping their coffee and lazing leisurely. It was a fine day indeed.
